Dear Friends,
I was overwhelmed with joy receiving all your answers last week, and seeing how people welcomed my new plan for newsletters. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I believe my emotions composed this week’s painting, which seems to hold everything that is in my heart and more.
This week I’m sending you a painting that continues to reveal itself to me. It has a section done by Ulysses, with many of his finger-marks, another done by Helena with strong eyes and large eyelashes, one more done by me showing a new face accompanied by their hand, and a section done with cochineal. I hope you enjoy looking at it and uncovering its mysteries.
The Thursday Painting is for sale at a sliding scale, starting from US$111 and going up to infinity — I’ll be equally honored if you pay the minimum. Reply to this email to claim it for yourself with the price you wish to pay and the address where you want to receive it, and I’ll send you a payment link. All paintings are ready to hang, although you can always take them to your local framing shop if you wish to!

Recently I also wrote about the latest Art Share meeting that we had at the Soil Factory, and about an artist book I created with the help of students at Cornell. And I’m including here a slightly older post in which I show a few other works done with cochineal.
In gratitude,
Debora
